The Best Time to Write is Now... The Best Place to Write is Here... The Best Person to Write is You...

The Finalists for the Grand Tournament Are...

To the Competitors and Judges of the Grand Tournament and the fans, followers and family of Writing Knights Press:

Azriel Johnson, Director of Writing Knights Press, here with your finalists for the Grand Tournament V competition.

First I would like to thank all of the judges for their hard work so far and the hard work yet to come July 30th at Buzzbin at 7pm when we experience the Stage Round. The five finalists will bring their hearts and souls to the stage to perform the same manuscripts they submitted earlier this year for the tournament.

I would also like to take this time to remind all participants and any and all audience members that they are permitted to compete in the Haiku Joust. The WINNER of the Haiku Joust will earn a chapbook deal with Writing Knights. The Haiku Joust will happen between performers and around our special musical guest Eremos.

Another reminder, the suggested admission for the event is $5, but if you cannot afford to pay this, please pay what you can and anything you pay for admission, you get that much off of any purchases you make from Writing Knights on July 30th... So basically if you come in and say, "Lemme get this here Grand Tournament Anthology" we'll say, okay $10 and you don't have to worry about admission. Got it? Good!

Before we announce our finalists, I would like to congratulate all of our competitors. Please give these folks a round of applause:
C.E. Harrington, Dan Denton, Dionne D. Hunter,
Ephraim Nehemiah,
Jacob Patchen,
James Croal Jackson,
Jamie Laubacher,
Jonathan Thorn,
Lori Ann Kusterbeck,
Lorraine Cipriano,
Martina R. Gallegos,

Lori Ann Kusterbeck
Lorraine Cipriano
One Single Rose
Tanya Pilumeli

One last thing...
Electronic flyers will be made available to everyone hopefully by Monday as will paper flyers for distribution.

Without further ado... let's give a round of applause for the finalists...
Dionne D. Hunter
Ephraim Nehemiah
James Croal Jackson
Jamie Laubacher

Please join us July 30th at Buzzbin (339 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, OH) at 7pm to witness the Haiku Joust and of course the finals of the Grand Tournament.
