Page-A-Day Poetry Anthology

Published November 11, 2014
This anthology is easily the most ambitious collection Writing Knights has ever attempted. We have put together full length books before, but corralling one author for a 80 plus page book is nothing compared to trying to gather 365 pieces from over 30 authors from all over the world.

The format is simple. Each day has a single poem on it. Some of these days will signify a particular holiday or special observance (like a birthday). Please feel free to read one poem at a time, or read through the whole year in one clip and come back afterward. It’s all up to you.

If you received this book as a gift, thank the person who gave it to you, as they gave you the greatest gift short of life: poetry.

Thank you.

Back of the Book:
Poets from all over the world (United States, United Kingdom, India, Canada and more) have collaborated to bring the first ever Writing Knights Press Page-A-Day Poetry Anthology. Herein are 365 written and visual depictions of life created by over 40 artists spanning 12 months. These pieces are intended for you to read, absorb, contemplate and share with others.

This is a perfect addition to your coffee table for morning inspiration or your bedside table to give you something to philosophize in your dreams.

Excerpt
ahhh...the fresh cotton aroma
clean linen flapping in the wind
dashing back into the house
curtains blowing slightly open
taking the bowl of cherries
picking out the ripest one
quickly knotting the stem
with her tongue, effortless
a challenge of truth or dare
dare to escape her romance?
