Full Length - 72 pages, 6" x 9", ISBN: 9781499501254
" 'In the Beginning and the End' marks the dramatic appearance of a major new voice in contemporary poetry. Pierce's poems are rooted in the American experience, where "we had a barn where Grandma and Grandpa / made love on the floor / to celebrate the purchase of the land." But the author, unconstrained, is a "night train", and her acreage is the cosmos. Buy this book."
